How We Work
Muted Healing isn’t a system that you follow, we’ve always maintained that it’s a space that you enter, and are responsible for co-creating. After all, ‘healing’ is a verb, it requires action right?
Our approach is grounded in Positive Psychology and Appreciative Inquiry, meaning we begin with what’s strong, not what’s wrong. That said, the beautiful intersection of our coaching and counselling services means we have the scope to make space for both depending on what the client needs.
We ask, “what do you need?” rather than “what’s the matter with you?” across everything we offer, whether that’s 1:1 therapy or coaching, a workshop for your team, or a BodyMind away day. All Muted Healing offerings are designed to quieten the external noise long enough for your own voice to become audible to you. That’s the mission.

Every session, workshop, and interaction is designed with psychological safety as the foundation, not an add-on. We take this so seriously that we even train companies, schools, and Higher Education courses on how to create trauma-informed safe spaces.
There’s a sufi saying which says ‘Do not cut the person to fit the cloth’ and we live by this – there a things that the coaching/therapy room doesn’t hold well because it hasn’t been built with everyone in mind – the weight of collectivist expectation, the dual identities, the exhaustion of masking – we hold all of these things and adapt.
Positive Psychology is not toxic positivity, it’s the evidence-based practice of building from what’s already working, and we help you uncover what you may have missed from this.
The BodyMind approach is a recognition that stress, trauma, and wellbeing live in the body as much as the mind. Our therapeutic bodywork, movement, and somatic practices treat them as one.
We don’t believe in standardised healing programmes, or 8 week cure-alls. Some people need a single breakthrough session, others need years of steady support.
We meet you where you are and walk at the speed that works for you.

The Who
We work with individuals and organisations that hold the belief that wellbeing is worth taking seriously, and a readiness to do it in a way that doesn’t require you to leave your whole identity at the door.
If you’re a Global Majority professional carrying the weight of that inheritance, the ambition, the silence, the love, the pressure – you won’t have to translate yourself here.
If you’re neurodivergent and tired of coaching spaces that expect you to adapt to them – we adapt to you.
If you’re a leader, a parent, a burned-out healer, or simply someone who’s been carrying too much for too long – there’s a chair here with your name on it.
