Events & Community
Our bodies carry our emotions in our muscles and joints. Becoming familiar with your physical responses is one of the
strongest foundations for the inner work — and doing it with other people makes it stick.
This is the heartbeat of Muted Healing — the places where community actually happens. Whether you’re here to sweat, to sit still, to be held, or to find your people, you’ll find something on this page that was made with you in mind.
Healing and flourishing is a communal effort.
Fitness Classes
There is nothing quite like moving to music that was made for people like you. Our Bollywood fitness classes are designed to be joyful, inclusive, and genuinely good for your body and your nervous system — with the added benefit of not feeling like exercise. All fitness levels welcome. All bodies welcome. Zero gym anxiety.
Classes are available as one-off community events, regular weekly sessions, and as bespoke pop-ups for corporate away-days, private celebrations, birthdays, and community groups.
Spin to the rhythm of Bollywood & Desi music
A high-energy indoor cycling class set entirely to Bollywood, bhangra, and desi music. Pedal to the beat, lose yourself in the rhythm, and build cardiovascular fitness in a space where the playlist actually speaks to your soul. This is spin class, but not as the wellness industry usually offers it.

Community Spaces
Numerous studies confirm what most of us already feel: tending to the body improves mental wellbeing, life satisfaction, and productivity. These services are available for individuals and for organisations looking to build a meaningful staff wellbeing day.
London Events
We are qualified to administer a range of massage therapies, all rooted in the same belief: that a body given permission to rest comes back as a new person. Available for individuals and as a bespoke wellbeing station for staff wellbeing days — many can be administered at the desk, though we recommend creating a proper space where people can genuinely switch off.

For Organisations
We bring the Muted Healing experience to you. Pop-up packages are built to fit your team’s size, schedule, and what they actually need — not a generic away-day agenda. Every package is bespoke. Every session is facilitated, not just delivered.
On-site or Venue
A full-day pop-up combining elements from across the Muted Healing offering: opening with a Bolly BootCamp warm-up, moving into a strengths or psychological safety workshop, and closing with massage stations and reflection time. Designed to leave your team feeling genuinely reconnected, not just ticked off.
Pop-Up
Bring a class to your office, venue, or community space. Ideal as a standalone staff wellbeing event, a fun opener for a conference, or the highlight of a team away-day. Equipment and facilitation provided. Indoor cycling or bodyweight format depending on your space.
On-Site
A bespoke massage station brought to your workplace. Staff rotate through individual 15–20 minute sessions during the day: Indian Head, Swedish, or chair massage depending on preference. A tangible, deeply appreciated wellbeing perk. Available as pop-up events.
Outdoor Event
Positive Psychology + Photos + Walking. Our P3 methodology has been used for community building, team cohesion, and grounding people during difficult periods. A facilitated outdoor walk combining mindfulness, photography, and positive psychology reflection — a powerful and distinctly different away-day option.
private Events
BollyBike and Bolly BootCamp are a natural fit for hen dos, birthday celebrations, and private group events where the guest of honour wants something more memorable than cocktail making. We bring the class, the playlist, and the energy. You bring the people.
Fully Bespoke
We love a brief that doesn’t fit a template. Tell us your group, your goals, and your constraints — and we’ll build something that works for exactly that combination.
Community Spaces
These are the spaces that don’t announce themselves loudly but tend to mean the most. Drop in, sign up, or simply follow along until you’re ready.
London Events
Positive Psychology, Photos, and Walking, three scientifically-grounded tools for tuning into your authenticity and facilitating personal healing. Previous P3 walks have been wholesome community spaces for meeting new people, holding space during global crises, and simply being outside with intention. Follow our socials for the next event.

If you’ve lost the time, the focus, or the love for reading, this virtual club was made for you. Founded in November 2023, our international community of readers shares one theme: books that rehumanise and amplify muted voices. Members regularly credit the group’s safety and accountability for bringing them back to reading. Each round dives into a new book, with thought-provoking discussions and diverse perspectives.
LAUNCHING SOON!
This is the Reading Club’s sibling that aims to bring together people’s love for cinema, but making it meaningful. Because it’s never “just a movie”, we aim to show movies that re-humanise and amplify muted voices and creating poignant discussions that build bridges and connection.
In association with Muted healing
Founded by Tina Mistry, and led by Afsar Ali, the Brown Therapist Network is a professional community for mental health and wellbeing practitioners of South Asian heritage. A space to collectively decolonise practice, amplify cultural strengths, and build the field we wish had existed for us.
A learning community where South Asian practitioners across the mental health and wellbeing spectrum, from students to seasoned professionals, coaches to psychotherapists, come together with one shared motive: to mute the colonisation in our practice, and amplify what we bring from our own cultures and lived experience.
This is not a directory, and it’s not a referral network (though those things may grow from it). It’s primarily a space of belonging and development for people who have often felt like the only one in the room.
If you’re interested in hosting a collaborative event or workshop with us, get in touch!
Whether you’re here for a BollyBike class, a Reading Club season, a massage therapy package for your team, or to join the Brown Therapist Network, the door is always open. You don’t have to arrive with a plan.
What People sAY
I was able to talk without any interruptions or judgement. I myself was made to look for the solutions which allowed me to think in a different way than I normally would.
I feel comfortable speaking about the complexities around the sensitivities around my previous experiences, which I rarely share due to fear of judgment. The strength of the sessions is that at no point have I felt judged, allowing me to open up and gain a fuller experience. Conversations are nuanced and explored effectively, and I have been amazed at Afzar’s ability to navigate areas where other professionals have failed. The conversations from my perspective often feel like my own random rambles. Still, the fundamental strength of the sessions has been the ability of Afzar to connect these rambles through effective questioning, supporting me to discover the truth and meaning behind what is that I need rather than what I think I want, without any imposition from him.
My favourite part was learning some history of cupping and the conversations of how the therapy works and it’s practices. I particularly enjoyed the back massage especially the technique of pushing the tension from the bottom of the spine all the way up to the back of the skull.
